On the afternoon of May 27, 2022, at the headquarters of APSARA National Authority in Cambodia, a handover ceremony of sanitary ware from JOMOO to APSARA National Authority (ANA) was held. H.E. Dr. Hang Peou, Director General of ANA, H.E. Mr. LONG Kosal, Deputy Director-General of ANA and representatives from JOMOO attended the event.

APSARA (Authority for the Protection of the Site and Management of the Region of Angkor) is the Cambodian management authority responsible for protecting the Angkor Archaeological Park.

Angkor Archaeological Park is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. It was the capital of the Khmer (Cambodian) empire from the 9th to the 15th century, a period that is considered the classical era of Cambodian history. Its most-imposing monuments are Angkor Wat, a World Heritage Site, known as the national treasure of Cambodia, is the largest temple and the earliest Khmer-style building in the world. In 1992, Angkor Archaeological Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Cultural heritage is a treasure deposited by history. JOMOO is honored to participate in such a meaningful project to contribute and encourage those who have worked hard in the field of heritage preservation.

Previously, JOMOO has provided sanitary ware replacement for China's Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Mogao Caves, Genghis Khan Statue Memorial in Mongolia, and other world heritage sites. The project in Cambodia will be a new starting point, and we will keep encouraging more contributions to cultural heritage protection.
